We have a winner(s)! The winner of our first iPod touch Donor Recognition Contest is Karin Von Kay of Northern Arizona University. Thank you to all who entered. The quality of the entries was exceptional. A lot of you put some real effort and thought into your answers. Therefore, we have decided to give out 10 additional prizes in the form of $25 Amazon Gift Certificates. Winners of the gift certificates will be notified via e-mail next week. Karin submitted the following great idea! We sent letters from departments to students advising them that they were the recipient of a scholarship. The letters included a statement that the money would be placed in their account after we received their thank you letter to the donor. We started getting calls from donors saying, "That was the first thank you letter I ever received from my scholarship recipient." The donors were very pleased. Thank you to all who entered.
